EM North Macedonia: Online student debate “I have something to say about my future”

Today, April 27, 2021, on the internet platform “Zoom” (ZOOM) was held an online student debate on the topic “I have something to say about my future” on the occasion of May 9, the Day of Europe, in partnership with the European Movement in the Republic of Northern Macedonia, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the Delegation of the European Union in the Republic of Northern Macedonia, which with the participation of fifty students from several universities in the country, was a good opportunity to hear what kind of society young people want to live in.

The President of the European Movement in North Macedonia, Prof. Dr. Mileva Gjurovska, invited students to talk about what challenges they face, what European values ​​are important to them and to share their thoughts with the public. “There are not enough platforms where young people can be heard and, therefore, in addition to this debate, the European Movement in North Macedonia will soon open a youth platform, in which students of this generation as bearers of the future will be able to express more specifically the challenges they face”, said Gjurovska.
