The preparatory meetings shall feed the debate and give further incentives to the final Congress of Alicante that will take place from the 19 until the 21 of November.

The aim is to define a line of conduct on the two main topics with the perspective of a larger cooperation between the two shores of the Mediterranean.

The Alicante Congress follows up on the North-South Mediterranean Dialogue started 2006 at the Mediterranean Congress in Algiers related to a global common vision of the future.
