At the Third Eastern Partnership Summit held in Vilnius, Lithuania on 28-29 November Moldova initial the Association Agreements, including Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTAs) . On 27 of November European Commission , taking into account the results of implementation of Visa Liberalalisation Action Plan and overall relations between the EU and the Republic of Moldova, decide to present a legislative proposal to lift visa requirements for Moldovan citizens holding a biometric passport – amending EC Regulation 539/2001 – in accordance with the agreed methodology under the VLAP.
