Petros has been the Secretary General of the European Movement International since July 2015.

Previously Petros headed the European Movement UK. During his 10 years in the UK Petros also worked as ACCA’s Head of Public Affairs – Europe, as EU Affairs Adviser at the UK’s Financial Services Authority and before that as EU Affairs Adviser at the UK Parliament.

During his first stint in Brussels, Petros worked for the European Commission and the Committee of the Regions, as well as in advocacy and lobbying.

Petros frequently writes about and comments on EU issues and has featured on BBC News, CNN, Bloomberg, Al Jazeera, as well as the Guardian, Le Soir, El Pais, Ta Nea, Der Spiegel, Euractiv, Politico Europe among others.

He holds a BSc (Econ) on International Politics and Europe from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, and an MSc on European Economics, Politics and Law from the London School of Economics.
